Hi, I'm Lauren - a lifestyle photographer with a deep love for real, messy, beautiful motherhood. I started Wild + Rooted to capture the in - between moments - the quiet snuggles, the wild toddler laughs, the growing bellies, and the real life magic that makes your story yours.
My approach
I'm not here to turn your family into something they're not. I want to capture the way your baby curls into your chest, the belly laughs, the tiny details, the messy hair, the way your partner looks at you when you're not paying attention, and all the little in-between moments that make this season yours.
Sessions are relaxed, connection - focused, and guided when you need it - but, there's plenty of room to simply just be. Ill give you prompts and gentle direction when it helps, while leaving space for the genuine moments to happen naturally. My goal is to give you photographs that don't just show you what this season looked like, but remind you exactly how it felt.

I cannot recommend this photographer enough! We did our 48-hour fresh newborn session and the experience was absolutely amazing. She captured the most beautiful, raw, and emotional moments of our baby girl. Every tiny detail the wrinkles, little fingers, sleepy expressions was preserved so perfectly. Lauren (Wild + Rooted Photo Co.) took a three-generations session of myself, my 2-year-old daughter, and my mother yesterday, and I truly cannot recommend her enough.
She worked with us on pricing to make the session possible, communicated so quickly, and somehow delivered our entire album the very next day. She was also incredible with our overtired toddler—making her laugh, sharing her own snacks , and keeping things moving while her own sweet baby sat nearby in the stroller. Her posing prompts made everything feel natural and easy, and her editing is exactly what I hoped for: cinematic, filmy, warm, and beautiful. It was all a dream. My mom’s boyfriend even got to jump in for a few shots and she made my very shy 55 year old mother laugh and captured their genuine joy when I often see my mom avoid showing her “true” smile in pictures!
Most of all, Lauren is just incredibly kind. She went above and beyond for us, and I’m so grateful we found her. Cannot recommend enough as a professional photographer to capture your memories!

Such a good experience and even better pictures! We haven’t had family pictures in quite some time and I’m so happy with how they turned out! The rain wasn’t in our favor and she was so willing to reschedule and work around the weather!

I highly highly recommend Lauren to do your photos! She did so amazing on my maternity photos and my son’s newborn photos. I couldn’t imagine going to another photographer. She’s my go too!!! I recommend her to everybody that looks for photographer. She can do anything from animals to engagement photos to newborn photos, maternity photos, etc. Lauren can do most any photos.
